Advantages Of Saddle Hunting
- Extremely Lightweight Tree Saddles: Tree Saddles are lightweight, making you more mobile. Perfect for the Public Land Owner! Our new lightweight saddle hunting steps make climbing a breeze too. At 24 ounces, we offer some of the lightest saddle hunting steps on the market.
- Little to no noise: With a tree saddle, you don’t get the noise typically associated with pulling up tree stands.
- Hunters Safety: While there have been lots of hunters who have fallen from conventional tree stands, when saddle hunting you are tethered to the tree from the moment you leave the ground until you step back on it after the hunt, making it almost impossible to fall.
- Affordable: While some of our saddle hunting platforms may be a tad more expensive than some traditional tree stands, you only need 1 saddle hunting platform. Gone are the days of needing multiple stands for multiple sets. Save time and money saddle hunting.

Shikar sticks
The problem with these sticks just happens to be a pretty big deal. The problem is the adjustments you have to make to the stick before use. It takes time, causes movement, makes noise, and produces a petroleum scent. All of these things greatly increase the chance that a mature buck will detect you. So the design of the sticks that make them so compact and easy to carry is also the Achilles heel.

Shikars
All i can say is these sticks are by far the best ive used. Super packable and light. Exceeded my expectations!
-
Loose step
One of the steps on one stick doesn’t seem to stay tight even after I tighten it using the stand off. Any replacement parts for that? Not a big deal just something I noticed. Other than that product it great

SHIKAR STICKS
By far one of the best sticks I have ever used! Light, compact, and rock solid. Best in the business if you ask me!
-
one main issue
thier wieght and compact packability are great. however the standoffs need some reconfiguring esp for a larger hunter like me. the biggest issue is that the standoffs will not lock in place no matter what you do. they need to be recessed like the foot pieces. also i would like to see a more robust version for 300 pounders like me. wider foot recessed standoffs and maybe a 1/2" more from the tree. a few more ounces per stick means nothing to us fat boys.

Shikar 20”
Loving these sticks paired with the 5/8” mini strap. Great for hardcore hunting due to packability and how light they are! Was able to harvest a buck last night thanks to having these on my pack! Matt is awesome to deal with also, thanks brother!

Shikar 20" sticks
Great quality, great customer service. I could not be more pleased with this purchase.

17inch Shikar Climbing sticks
Pros: - The sticks are very light and compact. (4 of these weigh the same as 3 of my previous sticks) - The solid rod used on these sticks makes them much quieter than the hollow one inch tubing that is used on many other sticks.( I don’t feel the need to Stealth strip these) - the sticks pack great in a side stacked method. Cons: - I WISH!! Out on a Limb would cut the factory standoffs so that the sticks could be side stacked without loosening the brackets. ( I don’t like having to mess with tightening an loosening the brackets). - This one is not a stick issue, but in hindsight I wish I would have bought the 20 inch sticks. *** The sticks are worth the money so if you are thinking about buying them, just do it. Don’t waste you money and risk your life with the other cheap overseas crap (Hawk). Keep your money local and buy a premium product made in America. — Now go enjoy your hunting freedom.
