Advantages Of Saddle Hunting
- Extremely Lightweight Tree Saddles: Tree Saddles are lightweight, making you more mobile. Perfect for the Public Land Owner! Make sure to check out our new Ultra-Light saddle hunting steps for the ultimate lighweight hunting pack.
- Little to no noise: With tree saddle, you don’t get the noise typically associated with pulling up tree stands.
- Hunters Safety: While there have been lots of hunters who have fallen from conventional tree stands, when saddle hunting you are tethered to the tree from the moment you leave the ground until you step back on it after the hunt, making it almost impossible to fall.

I put this platform on my hawk helium sticks by drilling the two holes and it works great. Good traction and does not bend when pushing on it from the side. I have only hunted out of it 4 times right now but I am pleased with the results.
Works great for run and gun hunts!
The best platform top for the EWO ultimate one stick.
I got this for using on a beast stick for short 2-3hr hunts. Haven't used on a real hunt yet but tested for an hour plus in the tree wearing trail shoes and was comfy. The platform is stable with very little flex/movement on the beast stick. My one complaint is that the tree notch is just barely deep enough and the platform almost touches the bark, which might prevent the standoffs from biting deep enough in certain situations. If you mount on a beast stick make sure to use the pre-drilled hole for your lower bolt and drill another for the top bolt. If you try to mount lower on the stick, the platform will hit the step on the next stick when stacking. Overall, I'm really psyched to use this and skip bringing the ridge runner on shorter hunts
I used the angled scout on a stick last season and loved it (paired with squirrel steps). After a dozen or so climbs this spring, the Monarch has replaced the Scout. It’s big enough to make a difference while one-stick climbing, not not as big as my Predator, so it eliminates the need for another piece of gear to hang. One mod I did, was to grind out a rope channel (like the Ultimate Platform (UP). Thanks
