The Ridge Runner by Out on a Limb Mfg.
This platform measures in at 16” X 8” and weighs right around 56 ounces. Like the Podium, The Ridge Runner is all aluminum and coated in a very durable anti-skid finish. This platform uses a cam over system with a pull strap much like the Podium. The Ridge Runner will have a few improvements that will help make the entire setup quicker, quieter and even safer.
The Ridge Runner is notched all along the circumference of the platform to increase traction and to help the overall ability. Another new feature will be the leveling system. Instead of using two individual knobs like the Podium, the Ridge Runner uses a single larger leveling knob for an easier adjustment.
NOTE: All Ridge Runner orders will come equipped with the updated longer knob as well as ONE pull strap.

I bought this for my husband. He raves about it after every hunt! I think it’s the best gift I’ve ever bought him. This is his first year saddle hunting, and after using the ring of steps (and having to use knee pads), and coming home so sore after hunting just the morning hunt, he could not believe the difference this platform really made!! It’s quiet, and easily to mount. He said he has a full view all around him and can easily maneuver. No slipping, and so very comfortable!!!! I think he would have give up on the saddle if he had not got this platform. For anyone using a ring of steps, GET THIS!!! It will change everything!

Hard to beat TBH
I have a size 13 boot and I have no problem staying comfortable for an all day sit. I looped Paracord through the base for a carrying strap. Mobility in the tree is just fine - platforms can’t beat a ring of steps though. However, I’ve seen guys put Tree Hopper steps on the straps which I would imagine solves that. I will consider doing this in the future. Love this platform - seriously considering buying a second.

Ridge runner platform
I’ve used the platform several times, very easy to hang. Love the large slip resistant grating. The only improvement i would like to see is more adjustability in leveling the platform.

Amazing product
Wowwwww!!! They have knocked this platform out of the park. Kicking myself for being late to the party. I have stood on several others big name platforms, as well as homemade platforms. None are comparable. Packability plays a huge role for me being a mobile hunter. This one does that perfectly. Comfort while on stand is unmatched. Really impressed and will probably buy another before the end of season.

Ridge Runner
Solid is probably the best word to describe this platform. I’m 230lbs, can put my full body weight on the side and it will not move. The coating and notches that are cut into it make it near impossible to slip off even with muddy boots. Light easy to pack all around great product.

Ridge runner and saddle
I purchased this to use with my JX3 saddle and wow is it stable. Good for side pressure to walk around the tree and the grip on the step is fantastic.

Love the design and weight but I would recommend a better attachment system. I do knot like the slide buclkles. I can never get the strap tight enough. I have modified it already with a ratchet.

Super solid. Only flaw is the buckle system. Can be noisy, falls off of the pegs, and can be pain in *** running strap through buckle. Definitely could have come up with better system such as the versa strap that Tethrd makes.
