The Slick Rick One-Stick
The Slick Rick is the first one-stick to be equipped with both a folding top and folding bottom platform for incredible packability. Just like the Big BOB one-stick, the Slick Rick utilizies an adjustable top platform to give the user the most comfortable hunt possible. The Slick Rick also includes an attached pull up cable, optimum for an efficient climb.

Benefits of the One-Stick Climbing Method
The one-stick climbing method for saddle hunting has major advantages over the multiple stick and platform combo that most saddle hunters are accustomed to. From the lack of weight to less gear clutter and noise, One-sticking is a great climbing method for both saddle hunters and mobile hunters to stay efficient, mobile, and light.

Slick Rick One Stick
I have been saddle hunting for over 25 years. I have used Bolts, Sticks, Rope/strap on Steps to climb trees. I am 68 years old and was questioning whether I should even try one sticking. I ordered a 14" Slick Rick with the Harken Cam Cleat, and three step 12" aider. I am using Canyon Elite 10mm rope with a MadRock SafeGuard, Petzel Quick Link, 3D printed Rope Stopper, and 40 ' of Dynaglide to retrieve my rope. I will continue using my regular sticks for morning pre set hunts as they allow me quiet morning climbs. I will use my Slick Rick for mobile and afternoon hunts. I have found even at my age and abilities one sticking is easier and much lighter getting to my hunting destinations. I have found if I just take my time it really is not any more difficult than multi stick climbing. One sticking allows me to go to what ever height I desire. My one sticking equipment in total weighs less than 8 pounds. Four Mini Double Step Sticks with cable aiders and a platform weighs in at 18 pounds. I will give the folks at Out on a Limb credit for making a great product. They said it would be 5 weeks for delivery and it was 5 weeks. The online order said something about a 10% discount. I never saw the discount on my order. Since making my order I have seen two listings for 20% discount. I am a manufacture myself. I know material, labor, and shipping cost. The Slick Rick is not "Cheap" but would you want something your life depends on being cheap. I am very satisfied with my Slick Rick One Stick.

Slick Rick - very nice
Went from a Shikar 1-stick with the Scout to a Slick Rick for a little more platform room. Very good design and rock solid. My only negative is that it weighs a little more than my minimalist stick which makes it a little more cumbersome to maneuver around while climbing and 1-sticking. Once the Slick Rick is mounted up in the tree it’s far superior.

Slick Rick 12 inch
This is a great one stick. My previous one is the SH1KAR and the Slick Rick is definitely an upgrade. Last hunt I did not even use a platform. I did switch the cam cleat to face the other side, I would recommend facing the cam cleat to one side or the other as an option.

OOAL Slick Rick One-Stick
Best one-stick on the market! First of all, this is a USA built tank of high quality workmanship and materials. I also have a EWO one-stick, and side-by-side, the quality and craftsmanship are near equal. But the ability to fold the Slick Rick flat gives it significantly greater flexibility for hauling it inside or strapped flat to the outside of your backpack. A folded flat one-stick gives me more room for extra clothing if needed for colder weather. The entire upper platform tilts down by way of an adjustable knurled knob for saddle hunters preferring to lean, and when preferring to sit, it can be moved to a perpendicular to the ground position, making each position more comfortable than before with the non-adjustable EWO one-stick with UP upper platform. Highly recommend this product with 3/16” full bury amsteel, cam cleat, and two step aider!
