I started saddle hunting last year. My initial setup was completely DIY. I made my platform from ideas I got on the saddle hunting forums. I quickly realized that I was going to need to upgrade for the coming season. I've looked at every platform option available, but I just wasn't completely happy with any of the options. Then I saw the solo scout. It's perfect for my needs. I try to get the weight of my total setup as low as possible, and this platform if perfect for that. Pros: 1. Super lite weight 2. Compact size 3. Easy to get on the tree and locks on tight. NO movement with side pressure. 4. The angled down platform is really comfortable. Cons: 1. .................. Can't think of any. I think the only improvement that could be made is a slightly deeper platform. The width is good. My size 13 boots don't have a lot of space, but I'm willing to deal with that one small issue.

This is the perfect sadfle platform for typical short hunt sessions or very long hikes in, where weight matters. Solid as a rock on the tree and has zero movement with side pressure. This has been a great addition my tree arsenal.

Great platform! Surprisingly comfortable for being a small platform. The angle provides foot relief. The platform bites into the tree well and can with stand an insane amount of side pressure. Highly recommend!

i have a preadtor gen 1 an 2 also own a lwcg platform an a few dyi platforms the solo scout is the best platfom i have put on a tree it is the perfect balance from a platform an a ring of steps wich is a true beauty in saddle hunting for me ...i will be ordering another one here directly ....thanks for the bad a$$ product an god bless

I love this little platform. Its light weight and easy to lock on tree. This is going to be my run and gun platform. Ooal was fast getting it to me i thought it would be at least a month before receiving it but it was here in a week. Great service!

Lite, compact, solid and just perfect! As a big guy 290 and size 13 foot Let me say this. Do I have the room to move around on the solo as I do on my Ridge Runner? No! But do I have the room to move around to get the job done? YES! Do I stay comfortable while using the Solo? YES Bottom line is, it’s comfortable and extremely stable. As long as you cam it over correctly you will never have that little voice in your head saying “ be careful it might slip”. Rock solid even with 290 pounds pushing on it in awkward positions to get the shot. And to top it all off it just about fit in your pocket.
